30 Day Fitness Results

Oh boy.  I can’t believe that I actually posted this.  One of the last things that I could ever imagine myself doing was to stand in front of the world without a shirt on.  Today’s hottest fitness programs like P90X, Insanity, and Turbo Fire ask you to take pictures every thirty days to track your results and to help motivate you to complete the program.  These are my 30 day results from working out on GarageBodyTV.com

This is a promise that I made to myself as well as the GarageBodyTV and YouTube community whether I am happy with the results or not.

Measurements in Lbs / Inches
Day Weight Bust Chest Belly Waist Hips L Thigh R Thigh L Calf R Calf L Forearm R Forearm L Bicep R Bicep
Day 1 201 38.5 37 38 36 43.5 22.5 22 15.5 15.25 11 11 14.5 14.5

How to Measure

Yuck! I look at these pictures and cringe, “Did I really look like that?”

I am certainly motivated by these images and look forward to my 60 day results.  Hopefully by then you will be able to see my abs and obliques.

Goals for next thirty days:

1.   Shed bodyfat, especially around my mid-section. Reveal abs and obliques.

  • Not just cut down, but eliminate the the candybars, starbursts and fruitsnacks that await me as I walk in and out of work… and back and forth to several times per day.
  • Avoid eating high fats and carbs late (after 8pm) at night.
  • Practice portion control.
  • More sleep (at least 7.5 hours at night).
  • Add cardio (treadmill and swim) 3 times per week (30 minute sessions) to my workout routine.
  • In addition to Core workouts, add yoga and possibly pilates.

2.   Gain mass in chest, arms, shoulders, traps.

  • Better pre-workout meal routine for more energy during workout.
  • Push harder on my lifts, increase weight.
  • Better post-workout recovery meals and drinks. (Better Amino Acids and Proteins mixed with the proper Glycemic Index carbs) I am going for the pure whey protein shake that includes a banana and lowfat milk or water.

3.   Study up on vitamins and supplements.  Listen to opinions on pre-workout energy supplements like Jack3D below and post-workout recovery supplements.

If you have used or have an opinion on this supp below please let me know.

Jack3d 8.8 oz (250 g) Jack3d 8.8 oz (250 g)

Like having tons of energy, strength, stamina and endurance for your workouts? Who doesn’t? There’s nothing like the right combination of compounds taken pre-workout to deliver consistently mind-blowing workouts to help you achieve your goals. After all, if your workouts suck, you can all but forget about making killer progress anytime soon.

The best healthcare initative starts with each of us creating our own healthcare program such as losing weight, quit smoking, drink water and get exercise. It is a pity that so many resources should be needed when we just don’t take care of ourselves.
